The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has decided to take action against the pumps on the issue of closure of petrol pumps in various cities.

Ogra officials say that the licenses of those keeping petrol pumps closed will be cancelled.

Officials have said that in this regard, the help of the district administration is being sought through the provincial chief secretaries.

Ogra officials also say that the issue of closure of petrol pumps will be dealt with soon.

It should be noted that the government has increased the prices of petroleum products.

While holding a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the price of petrol and diesel has been increased by Rs 35 and Rs 35 respectively.

He has told that the price of kerosene and light diesel has been increased by Rs.18 and Rs.18 respectively.

Ishaq Dar says that the new price of petrol is 249 rupees 80 paisa per liter while the new price of high speed diesel has been fixed at 262 rupees 80 paisa per liter.

The PML-N leader said that the new price of kerosene oil has been fixed at Rs 189 83 paisa and the new price of light diesel oil has been fixed at Rs 187.

On the other hand, before the increase in the prices of petroleum products, the supply of petrol was stopped at petrol pumps in various cities across the country and an artificial shortage was created.

After the shutdown, there was a rush of people at the petrol pumps.
