Government's decision not to load-shedding during Sehar Iftar and Taraweeh

There will be zero load management one hour before and one hour after Sahar, Ministry of Energy

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif directed uninterrupted supply of electricity during Ramadan.

The Ministry of Energy has issued instructions to all electricity distribution companies in the country by deciding not to do load shedding during the hours of Suhar Iftar and Witarweeh.

The Ministry of Energy said that the power supply will be ensured during the hours of Suhar, Iftar and Taraweeh, there will be zero load management one hour before and one hour after the hours of Iftar, there will be zero load management one hour before and three hours after Iftar. .

The Ministry of Energy said that for uninterrupted supply of electricity, control rooms will be established at the operation circle level, special teams will be formed to resolve complaints at the division and sub-division levels, additional transformers and trolleys will be available in case of transformer failure.
