The government increased the prices of petroleum products.
While giving a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the price of petrol and diesel has been increased by Rs 35 and Rs 35 per litre.
He has told that the price of kerosene and light diesel has been increased by Rs.18 and Rs.18 respectively.
Ishaq Dar says that after the increase of 35 rupees, the new price of petrol has been fixed at 249 rupees 80 paisa per liter while the new price of high speed diesel has been fixed at 262 rupees 80 paisa per liter.
He has informed that after the increase of Rs.18, the new price of kerosene oil has been fixed at Rs.189 83 paisa and the new price of light diesel oil has been fixed at Rs.187.
The Federal Minister of Finance has said that the new prices of petroleum products have been implemented immediately.
According to Ishaq Dar, the increase in the prices of petroleum products has been implemented from 11 am today.
He also says that there is no shortage of petroleum products in the country, but artificial shortage is being done.
