Karachi: One policeman was martyred and another injured in the firing of bandits in Maripur.
According to SSP Kemari Fida Hussain Januri, two policemen were injured in the exchange of fire between policemen and bandits in Maripur Machar Colony, one of them died during treatment.
SSP Kemari says that a robber was also shot by the firing of the policemen who escaped with injuries, there were 2 robbers who are being searched for. The martyred policeman’s name is Irfan and his age is 30 years.
The police say that the second official who was injured in the attack is being given medical aid in the hospital.
