A documentary on the life of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates, was screened in Cairo.
A documentary called ‘The Millstone’ was screened at the Cairo International Book Fair on Tuesday.
It covers the life of Sheikh Zayed in detail, presenting the political context in which Sheikh Zayed led the country.
The documentary combines historical footage from the National Archives and interviews with former royal advisers.
The film will also be screened at the Al Ain Film Festival in the UAE from February 6 to 11.
It has also been selected for screening at the London and Auckland Film Festivals, the documentary took two years to complete.
