We have to fix the teacher training program along with investing in children, Prime Minister
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the Teleschool Pakistan application for the start of digital education, declaring it a revolutionary program in the education sector.
Addressing the function held in the federal capital, the Prime Minister said that a good step has been taken to further advance education. The use of modern technology is essential for the promotion of education. For the training of teachers, the Minister of Education should adopt a coordinated strategy with the provinces.
The Prime Minister announced that one lakh laptops will be distributed to students this year. He said that we should invest in children. The quality of teacher training is not what it should be. We have taken steps to fix the teacher training program. Danish school system is being promoted across the country including Balochistan.
He said that there is a need to develop a strategy for vocational training centers in collaboration with the private sector and the provinces. In remote areas of Balochistan, children are not provided with education facilities. Free education facilities are being provided to poor students from Danish School.
