San Francisco: YouTube shorts get billions of views per month for which there is no thumbnail facility like regular YouTube videos. But now after Android, YouTube has started testing shorts video thumbnail on iOS platform and the feature is expected to be rolled out worldwide soon.
Under this you can select thumbnail image for shorts in many frames. While previously there was a facility to select a frame by going into YouTube Studio, it has now been placed in the app’s upload itself to speed up the process.
Then YouTube has also said that currently it was not possible to remove the thumbnail after uploading a short video but now this facility is also being considered. An extraordinary 50 billion short videos are watched every day. YouTube has also announced many benefits including compensation for its creators.
