crotch: People’s Party Co-Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that he rejects the Election Commission’s local government election schedule and asks the Sindh government to immediately challenge the by-election schedule in the High Court.
Bilawal Bhutto while addressing the foundation stone ceremony of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, the world’s largest heart disease hospital in Karachi, said that the Election Commission’s schedule of by-elections is a joke.
He said that for the first time in history, the PPP had a clean sweep in Hyderabad, while the PPP emerged as the largest party in Karachi.
Bilawal Bhutto said that if Jayala is mayor in Karachi and Hyderabad, will the doomsday be broken? Now they are not digesting that the mayor of Karachi will be of PPP. I am surprised that local body elections have been held in Sindh but the people are deprived of representatives, they are being deliberately deprived of representatives.
He said that PPP used to fight the Thunder Squad and sometimes it used to fight the terrorists sitting outside.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto said that we treat on the basis of humanity, NICVD should become a model for the entire nation in every province and if other provinces want it, Nadeem Qamar is ready to give it to them. People say that NICVD is the answer to what happened with devolution and the 18th amendment.
He said that the revolution in health is free treatment and the continuation of NICVD is not going to stop, we will provide free heart treatment facilities in other cities as well. NICVD Europe can compete with any hospital in India.
Bilawal Bhutto said that for the last 10, 15 years, they have been engaged in character assassination of PPP, but NICVD is an answer to all. Some say that they have been in the struggle for 30 years and by the time I was 30 years old, I had built the largest free treatment center in the world.
Co-Chairman of PPP said that they should show an institution like NICVD in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. Leave the politics of extremism, bullying, hatred and division, and if you are running your hateful politics today, you are doing yourself a disservice.
