California: Instant messaging application WhatsApp has introduced a new feature to easily extract text from received images.
According to WABetainfo, users who have this feature will be able to copy the text with the help of a button that appears by opening the captioned image.
This new feature introduced by WhatsApp is currently released for iPhone users. Users using iOS 16 or later operating system will be able to use this new feature.

However, text cannot be derived from images submitted under the view-only option.
