Karachi: Pakistan’s famous comedian Shakeel Siddiqui has said that Pakistan has always been ahead of India in comedy.
In a recent podcast, the comedian said that he believes that Pakistanis cannot produce a program like ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
Shakeel Siddiqui said that actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are needed to make The Kapil Sharma Show in Pakistan.
He said that when our artists come for an interview, they strictly say that we will not perform in the show, while Indian artists are given a regular script for the performance in the show, which they follow.
He said that we need a big budget and financial capital to make such shows, but when it comes to comedy, Pakistanis have always been ahead of India.
Shakeel Siddiqui said that only 12 to 14 script writers create content for the Kapil Sharma show and in Pakistan this work is taken from a writer like labour.
