104 NAB references including Sharjeel Memon transferred to active courts

The managing judge of the accountability courts had asked to transfer the reference from the empty courts.

Karachi: Sindh High Court has issued a written order to transfer 104 NAB references from vacant courts to active courts on the request related to quick disposal of NAB references.

A two-member bench headed by Justice Mohammad Iqbal Kalhoro issued a five-page written order.

According to the written order, court records show that the managing judge of the accountability courts had also asked for transfer of references from vacant courts.

The managing judge of the accountability courts informed the Chief Justice Sindh High Court about this. So that the references under hearing are transferred from the accountability courts which are vacant to the courts in which the judges are present.

The NAB prosecutor has not raised any objection regarding the transfer of references. 15 references from Accountability Court No.1 have been transferred to Court No.6.

These references include the references filed against Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon. 7 references from Accountability Court No. 3 were transferred to Court No. 6.

19 references from Accountability Court No. 3 were transferred to Court No. 7 Clifton. References against Speaker Sindh Assembly, PMQM leader Mustafa Kamal were also transferred to Accountability Court No. 7. 57 references from Accountability Court No.1 Sukkur are transferred to Court No.3.
