Islamabad: Due to security concerns, the Tosha Khana criminal case filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan will be heard in the judicial complex in Sector G-11 instead of the Islamabad court.
According to Express News, the Chief Commissioner approved the transfer of a case to the court under special powers, after which the Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal will hear the case filed against Imran Khan in the Judicial Complex instead of the F8 Court.
It has been decided to move the court in view of security concerns in the courtroom.
Section 144 enforced in Islamabad
On the other hand, due to Imran Khan’s appearance in the court, Section 144 has been implemented in Islamabad, under which the display and carrying of weapons will be prohibited, while it will be mandatory for those who leave the vehicle on the road to have proof of ownership.
Traffic plan and guidelines for citizens released
Due to the court appearance, a traffic plan was issued soon, in which citizens have been instructed to avoid unnecessary movement towards G-11 and G-Ten, while requiring citizens to carry identification documents and Cooperate with the police during checking.
In addition, the police spokesman said that citizens should immediately report any suspicious activity on call 15.
Security plan drawn up
The Islamabad Police prepared a security plan on the appearance of the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf, former Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to police sources, two DIGs, 3 SSP, 4 SP, 15 ASP and DSP will be appointed for Imran Khan’s security.
According to the sources, 30 inspectors and 40 platoons of Islamabad Police will be deployed, besides a heavy contingent of Rangers and FC will be deployed.
Security arrangements outside the judicial complex
In view of the possible appearance of Imran Khan, security arrangements are being made in the Islamabad Judicial Complex, under which containers have been placed on the sides and all the routes have been sealed while a single entrance and exit has been made.
Imran Khan will be in Islamabad in case of rally
PTI Chairman Imran Khan will leave Islamabad from Zaman Park at 8 am, PTI gave a call to the workers to reach Zaman Park at 7 am.
According to party sources, Imran Khan will go to Islamabad from Lahore leading the rally in the morning.
