Demonstrations took place across France on Thursday against the implementation of the pension reform law.
Trade unions have been on strike in France since February against the government’s proposed pension reforms.
The sudden protests erupted after Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne announced it in a TV interview as an outcry against the government’s decision.
During the protests, hundreds of vehicles and motorcycles were set on fire, as well as garbage drums, but business centers and buildings remained safe due to heavy police presence.
The trade union has mobilized and started a strike in various sectors including cleaning staff, teachers of educational institutions, hospital staff and public transport workers.
