Chairman PTI, former Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to appear in Islamabad district court tomorrow.
According to PTI’s legal team sources, the legal team had a meeting last night before Imran Khan’s appearance.
Sources have said that PTI’s legal team discussed the use of various legal options last night, Imran Khan has consulted regarding legal proceedings.
According to sources, Imran Khan consulted his legal team on the cases registered in Islamabad.
Sources say that Khawaja Haris, Intizar Panjotha, Gohar Ali Khan and other lawyers in PTI’s legal team discussed legal points with Imran Khan.
Sources have said that PTI’s legal team informed Imran Khan about the legal strategy and considered challenging the rejection of the warrant cancellation request in the Tosha Khana case in the High Court.
According to sources, the legal team along with Chairman PTI also considered approaching the High Court to prevent filing of political cases.
Sources have said that the appeal in the Sessions Court to change the date of the warrant issued by the civil judge was also discussed in the meeting.
Sources have said that an attempt will be made to deal with both the non-bailable warrants on the appearance of Imran Khan in Islamabad on March 18.
Sources have also said that the sessions court will be approached to provide security to Imran Khan in the district court.
