Moscow: Syrian President Bashar al-Assad discussed the Ukraine war and reconciliation with Turkey in an important meeting with President Putin.
According to the World News Agency, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad arrived on a visit to Russia along with government officials and military officers. President Vladimir Putin gave him a warm welcome. The two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest in the important meeting.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad assured support in the Ukraine war, saying that Russia is facing old and new Nazism, for which the Russian President thanked the Syrian President.
The two leaders agreed on necessary measures for stability and lasting peace in the Middle East and discussed the prospects of bilateral economic cooperation.
It should be noted that in the war against Daesh in Syria, Russia fully supported the Bashar al-Assad regime with aircraft and military capabilities. Turkey and the United States have been concerned about the joint actions of Syria and Russia.
