After the successful consultation of Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider with all the stakeholders, it has been decided not to increase the prices of food items in Ramadan.
The district administration has issued a new rate list for the month of March and Ramadan under which orders have been issued to maintain the prices of pulses, meat, milk, curd and roti naan.
According to DC Lahore, the citizens should be protected from high prices in Ramadan, Basmati rice super new 300 rupees per kg, dal chana thin 235 kg and dal chana special 250 rupees, while dal masoor thick 255 rupees per kg and dal mash dal 405 rupees. Per kg will be available.
According to the released list, dal mash shelled Rs.370 per kg and mung dal shelled Rs.250 per kg, black gram Rs.200 per kg and white gram thick Rs.330 per kg, gram flour Rs.245 per kg, plain bread Rs.15 and naan Rs.25 per kg, milk 140 per kg and curd will be sold at Rs 165 per kg.
