Karachi: The date for cashing in prize bonds has been extended.
For the convenience of the people, the federal government has extended the date till June 30, 2023 by providing another opportunity to exchange/cash the prize bonds worth Rs.7,500, Rs.15,000, Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000.
Earlier, the government had fixed the date of June 30, 2022 for cashing these prize bonds, but the date has been extended to June 30, 2023, giving a last chance to those who have not exchanged these prize bonds within the stipulated period.
Investors of the above prize bonds can convert them into Special Savings Certificates or Defense Savings Certificates by encashing the face value or these bonds can also be transferred into premium prize bonds (registered) of Rs 25,000 or Rs 40,000.
