Mogadishu: In a suicide attack in the capital of Somalia, 11 people including the governor were injured and 5 people were killed.
According to the international news agency, a suicide bomber detonated a car full of explosives in an important government guest house in the capital of Somalia.
The blast was so powerful that the windows of the nearby buildings were broken and vehicles parked in the guest house were destroyed. More than 15 important government figures, including the governor, were staying in the guest house.
The security personnel of the guest house say that a speeding vehicle did not stop despite the signal, then fired at the tire and punctured the vehicle. On which the driver of the car blew up the car.
If the vehicle had not been punctured and the suicide bomber had managed to gain further entry, the death toll would have been much higher. 5 people were killed in the suicide attack while 11 people including the governor were injured. T
No militant organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but al-Shabaab fighters, who are linked to ISIS, are involved in attacks on military and government offices and buildings in Somalia.
