Dubai: Polish pilot and aerobatic Luke Chapila performed a world-first stunt by landing his plane on the 27-meter wide helipad of Dubai’s Burj Al Arab Hotel.

According to details, Luke had been preparing for this stunt for two years. The plane’s engine and other parts used in the heart-pounding stunt were also modified.

In the video shared on Instagram, Luke’s plane can be seen approaching the 212-meter-high helipad on the 56th floor of the Burj Al Arab and landing almost at the end of the helipad.

Luke said during the interview that we finally did it! First aircraft landing at the Burj Al Arab helipad.
