Karachi: FPCCI, the representative organization of major industrialists and businessmen of the country, has decided to meet the military leadership on the economic situation of the country and presented an economic program.
FPCCI President Irfan Iqbal Shaikh and others while addressing an emergency press conference at the Federation House yesterday blasted the country’s worst economic situation and the government’s indifference.
President of FPCCI said that the economy of the country has been destroyed, the same people are in the governments for thirty years but there is no policy, for the fifth time the Prime Minister postponed the meeting by giving an appointment, Ishaq Dar not in the past. They used to give time, but now they don’t.
He said that there is no policy in the country and the economy has been destroyed, everyone is involved in politics, there are no measures to improve the economy, whatever the government is talking to the IMF, bring it to us and make it clear. Because despite accepting all the conditions of the IMF, they are not ready to give us tablets.
Irfan Iqbal also presented the economic program of the Federation on the worst situation of the economy and said that next week we will meet the military leadership regarding the economic situation of the country.
In the press conference, former president FPCCI Nasir Hayat Magu said that the prime minister scheduled a meeting 5 times, but did not meet.
