Chinese-born actor K Hui Quan has won an Oscar for the film ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’.
K Hoi Kwan was nominated in the category of ‘Best Supporting Actor’ at the Oscars for the film ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ and also managed to win the award.
After winning this award, he could not control his emotions and cried on the stage of the Oscars.
“My 84-year-old mother is sitting at home watching me on the screen that I have won the Oscar today,” he cried.
He further said that ‘My struggle started from a boat, I lived in a refugee camp for a year and somehow reached the biggest stage in Hollywood, people hear my story and say. That such stories only happen in movies and I can’t even believe that this actually happened to me.
He said that there was a time in my life that I had almost given up on my dreams of becoming a part of the film world.

Hoi Quan of Chinese origin was born in Vietnam and his family moved there in 1978, after which he lived in a refugee camp in Hong Kong with his father and 5 siblings, while his mother and 3 others The siblings were estranged from him in Malaysia.
In 1979, Ke Hoi Kwan’s entire family reunited in America.
Ki Hoy Kwan started his film career in 1984 with the film ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’, after which he acted in many films in the 90s.
Later, when the actor’s film career began to suffer, he decided to pursue a formal degree in film program.
Now finally he made a successful return to the film world with the movie ‘Every Thing Everywhere All At Once’ and he also managed to win an Oscar award.
