Los Angeles: Host Jimmy Kimmel is facing criticism for asking an inappropriate question to Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai at the 95th Academy Awards.
Malala Yousafzai, a film producer and Nobel laureate, also attended the Oscars award ceremony for the first time with her husband Asr Malik, who remained the center of attention.
Malala entered the Oscars wearing a sparkling silver gown on the red carpet with the hope that her Hollywood short film ‘Stranger at the Gate’ would win the Oscars, but her film failed to win the award.
During the award show, host Jimmy Kimmel posed a controversial question to Malala in a humorous manner, to which Malala surprised everyone by giving a witty answer.
Jimmy asked Malala, ‘Did singer Harry Styles really spit on actor Chris Pan at an event a few months ago?’

However, many social media users are also criticizing the Oscars host for his controversial question and demanding that he should not be given the duties of hosting the Oscars next time.
