Tosha Khana Policy 2023;  Government officials are prohibited from receiving gifts of more than $300

Islamabad: The government immediately implemented the Tosha Khana Policy 2023, after which the acquisition of vehicles worth crores of rupees, expensive watches, jewelery and expensive gifts will be banned.

According to the details, the president, prime minister, cabinet members, judges, civil and military officers will be banned from receiving gifts worth more than 300 dollars. Apart from this, these persons will also be banned from receiving cash as gifts from domestic and foreign personalities.

After the implementation of the Tosha Khana Policy 2023, instructions have been issued to deposit the entire amount in the national exchequer on receiving a cash gift, while no person will be authorized to buy vehicles and valuable antiques received as gifts.

Apart from this, the cars received as gifts will be decorated in the central pool while valuable antiques will be decorated in official places, while the president, prime minister, cabinet members, judges, civil and military officers will be authorized to buy gifts worth less than 300 dollars at the market value and 300 The public will also be able to buy gifts worth more than a dollar through the state-owned open auction.

After the implementation of the Tosha Khana Policy 2023, gold and silver coins will now be handed over to the State Bank of Pakistan, other than the President and the Prime Minister will be banned from receiving gifts for their families.

Strict action will be taken against the person concerned for violating the Tosha Khana policy and the officers of the Ministry of External Affairs will be bound to provide the gifts received from abroad to the Cabinet Division.

According to the new policy, the value of gifts will be determined by expert officers of FBR and private firms, while the value of gifted weapons will be determined by private firms and POF.
