The Islamabad High Court upheld the death sentence of Zahir Jafar, the killer of Noor Muqaddam.
Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Ijaz Ishaq Khan gave a reserved verdict on the appeals of the Noor Moghadam case. The court upheld the death sentence of Zahir Jafar, the murderer of Noor Muqaddam.
The Islamabad High Court also sentenced Zahir Jafar to death in the rape case. The 10-year sentence of Iftikhar and John Muhammad, the other accused in the case, was upheld.
It should be remembered that the session court had sentenced Zahir Jafar to death. Zahir Jafar was also sentenced to life imprisonment for rape.
On which Zahir Jafar filed an appeal against the sentences in the Islamabad High Court. Zahir Jafar killed Noor Muqaddam on 20 July 2021.
