Karachi: ANF thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs abroad by sea from Gwadar.
According to the spokesperson of ANF, a large amount of drugs hidden in a deep pit between the bushes at Saji area of the desert was recovered, including 510 kg of hashish and 21 kg of ice.
In another operation, a huge quantity of drugs including 155 kg of hashish and 16 kg of heroin was recovered from a pit made in the bushes in Pushkan area of Gwadar.
2 kg 400 grams of hashish was recovered from the car while conducting an operation near Tarnool Gate on Rawalpindi GT Road, while 2 accused residents of Khyber Agency were arrested.
500 grams of heroin was recovered from the laptop of the suspect who was going to Sharjah at Faisalabad Airport, while the suspect, a resident of Buner, was arrested.
Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused.
