The Rawalpindi court dismissed Sheikh Rasheed’s plea to stop vacating Lal Haveli.

Rawalpindi Civil Judge Naveed Akhtar’s court dismissed Sheikh Rasheed’s application for injunction and said that the court cannot prevent any organization from taking any action according to law. The court scheduled the next hearing on February 15 and summoned the parties.

In the injunction petition filed by Sheikh Rasheed, it was stated that the appeals against the Lal Haveli case and the decision of the Waqf Department of Abandoned Property are pending. Forced evacuation of Lal Haveli is illegal and political vendetta.

In the petition, it was requested from the court that the department of Waqf Abandoned Property is carrying out political vendetta, therefore, an injunction should be issued to stop the vacating of Lal Haveli.
