Los Angeles: The South Indian film industry’s song ‘Natu Natu’ won the Oscar for Best Original Song.
The song Natu Natu from the hit Telugu language action-thriller film ‘RRR’ has made history by becoming the first Indian film song to win an Oscar.
The blockbuster song won the Best Original Song award at the 95th Academy Awards beating American singers like Lady Gaga and Rihanna, which is being celebrated in the Telugu film industry.
Its catchy tempo and choreography captivated audiences across the globe and earned it a nomination for the 95th Academy Awards.
On the other hand, another film from the South Indian film industry, ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ also managed to win the Best Documentary Short Film Award.
In this way, the two Indian films nominated for Oscars in the 95th Academy Awards this year surprised everyone by winning the Oscars, leaving behind the other nominees chosen from around the world.
