Karachi: CTD Police killed the mastermind of the Karachi Police Office attack along with his accomplice in an alleged encounter.
According to Express News, 2 terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire during the alleged encounter with the CTD police party near Manghopir Mai Gadhi shrine while 2 others were arrested.
The dead terrorists were identified as 26-year-old Aridullah and 23-year-old Abdul Waheed, whose bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital. CTD has claimed that Aridullah’s PO was the mastermind of the attack.
The CTD Police said that a suicide jacket was also recovered from the slain terrorists, which was defused by the bomb disposal squad, while 5 small arms and 2 motorcycles used by them were also seized.
CTD officials say that Aridullah was the commander of TTP Karachi and was allegedly the mastermind of the attack on the Karachi Police Office, but an important press conference will be held today regarding the contest.
