Los Angeles: For the first time in the 60-year history of the Oscars, the red carpet has been changed.
A lot has changed about the Oscars over the years, according to global media, but one thing that hasn’t changed over the past six decades is the red carpet. Although this carpet kept changing, its color remained red. But outside Hollywood’s Dolby Theater on Wednesday, workers pulled out the faded beige carpet and laid it down, the color change decided by innovation consultants Lisa Love and Raul Avila.
Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 12. The ceremony will start at 8 pm local time. The event will begin at 5am GMT on Monday.

The public did not see the red carpet on television until 1966. In 1966, when the Academy Awards were broadcast for the first time on color television, TV viewers also tuned in to the red carpet.
