Mumbai: In India, a little-known type of influenza, H3N2, has seen an acceleration in its spread after two patients died.

According to experts, the H3N2 virus of influenza A subtype is spreading rapidly due to humid weather and air pollution. From which the first deaths have been noted in Karnataka and Haryana. According to Dr. Ajay Agarwal, Head of Internal Medicine at Fortis Hospital in Noida, this new virus is spreading very fast due to air pollution.

But doctors are concerned that flu cases are unusually high and need to be considered. Apart from air pollution, some doctors have also said that the victims of this disease are those who have lost their mental strength during Covid-19 and have become victims of Corona. Pollution experts say that the unusual air pollution in Indian cities allows the H3N2 virus to stick and enter the lungs through inhalation, making people sick.
