San Francisco: WhatsApp is rapidly introducing new features and now you will be notified if the group you are in and its admin deletes it.
The reason is that we are part of many groups and even after the group ends, people remain attached to it. Thus, now WhatsApp is offering auto-destructing messages as well as an app to reveal group deletions.
Some analysts have spotted this update on the WhatsApp beta website which can be seen in WhatsApp version iOS 23.5.0.070. This feature is included in the group setting category. This allows you to add an expiration time to the group, which can be a day, a week, a month, or your own time.
However, this setting is only for you, in which you can set options on messages. Otherwise, all group members will remain in the group and see all details until they expire. But if you accidentally hit the expiration button, you can re-associate with an ‘Undo’ option.
WhatsApp aims to keep the app clean and organized so that you can automatically exit old groups and lose all information upon exiting. It should be noted here that WhatsApp has started testing it and only after approval it will be rolled out worldwide.
