New Delhi: In India, the number of patients infected with influenza A virus type H3N2 has doubled, while two deaths have also been reported in Haryana and Karnataka.

According to the World News Agency, two deadly types of influenza have started to rise in the cities after Corona. 90% of hospitalized patients are infected with influenza types H3N2 and H1N1.

An 82-year-old man died of influenza in the Indian state of Karnataka, while a 60-year-old man died in the state of Haryana. Both were admitted to the hospital after showing corona-like symptoms.

Both patients died during treatment, one of whom also had diabetes and blood pressure disorders. Both these patients were suffering from cold, cough and fever for a month.

This disease is also known as Hong Kong flu. The H3N2 and H1N1 types of influenza prove to be quite dangerous for people with chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and weakened immunity.

On the other hand, in the Chinese city of Xi’an, after the increase in flu cases, a lockdown was imposed and all schools were closed. For the first time after Corona, a lockdown has been imposed due to a disease.

It should be noted that the World Health Organization warned at the beginning of this month that the flu virus is spreading rapidly in the northern and southern provinces of China, which could have dangerous consequences if the spread is not stopped.
