The names of Prince Harry’s children Archie and Lilybet have been added to the new royal titles on the royal family’s official website.
Prince Harry’s children were previously known as Master Archie and Miss Lilybet, but have now been named ‘Prince Archie of Sussex’, meaning Prince Archie and shall be known as ‘Princess Lilybet of Sussex’ i.e. Princess Lilybet.
It may be recalled that Prince Harry’s children’s names were previously listed as ‘Master Archie Mountbatten Windsor’ and ‘Miss Lilybet Mountbatten Windsor’ on the official website of the royal family.
It should be noted that the rules regarding the authority to attach royal titles to the names of children of the royal family were compiled by Queen Elizabeth’s grandfather, King George V, in 1917.
The new development was decided when Princess Lilibet Diana was converted to Christianity in a small ceremony by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev. John Taylor of Montecito.
However, no details have yet been revealed as to whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla will attend the coronation ceremony.
