Islamabad court granted 3-day physical remand of private TV channel owner Shoaib Sheikh.
District and Sessions Court Islamabad Judicial Magistrate Umar Shabbir rejected the request of Shoaib Sheikh for 10 days physical remand on behalf of the prosecutor. The court had reserved its decision after the arguments of the parties were completed. The owner of a private TV channel, Shoaib Sheikh, was arrested yesterday by FIA on reaching Islamabad from Karachi.

According to sources, Shoaib Sheikh is accused of allegedly bribing the judge. Earlier, FIA ordered Shoaib Sheikh to appear several times but he did not follow the notices.
