Karachi: The Civil Aviation Authority has completed the phase of safety checks of New Gwadar Airport before the air operation, the inauguration is likely to be done on March 23.
According to the sources, after the construction of the new international standard airport of Gwadar, in the context of air operations, the CAA started the final safety checks during which the safety of the runway, airside, terminal building and others of Gwadar International Airport were checked. Phases of checks are set.
Gwadar International Airport Government intends to resume air operations soon, before the air operations, the team of the concerned department of CAA completes the final check procedure keeping in mind the standards of international civil aviation.
According to the sources, the new airport of Gwadar is likely to be inaugurated on March 23.
