US State Department spokesperson Ned Price says that ultimately Pakistan will have to make the decisions to open the way for IMF funding.
During a press briefing, US State Department spokesperson Ned Price has said that Pakistan is encouraged to continue working with the IMF.
They say that reforms will make Pakistani businesses more competitive, and reforms will help Pakistan attract better investment.
Ned Price said that with the necessary economic decisions, Pakistan can go on the path of sustainable development, with the help of the international community and the United States, Pakistan can come on the path of sustainable development.
He said that Pakistan is working with international financial institutions and IMF for sustainable development, America is ready to be Pakistan’s partner on economic, security and political challenges.

He also says that the people of Pakistan are facing great difficulties including economic difficulties, aware of the clashes in Lahore, encouraging everyone to be patient.
