Lahore: A case has been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders under terrorism and other provisions.
The case was registered in Lahore’s Racecourse Police Station under the complaint of DSP Sabir Ali. Imran Khan, Farrukh Habib, Hassan Niazi, Ejaz Chaudhry, Hammad Azhar, Fawad Chaudhry and Mehmood-ur-Rashid have been named in the case.
Violation of Section 144, assault on police officers, blocking the road and terrorism provisions have been included in the case.
According to the FIR, the mob attacked with the intention of killing, which had to be avoided by tear gas and shelling. During this, PTI workers were killed and many injured.
According to the text, PTI workers were told that Section 144 is in force and should not be violated. 13 policemen and officers were injured due to the attack and violence of the activists on the policemen.
