Rawalpindi: Zubair Ahmed Khan, the former adviser and chairman of Chief Minister Complaint Cell Punjab, was abducted from Qasim Market in Gulnar Colony Lane 2, Race Course area of Police Station.
Shuja Zubair, the son of former adviser and chairman Punjab Chief Minister Complaint Cell Zubair Ahmad Khan, told that father Zubair Ahmad Khan was coming home and as soon as he entered the street, unknown persons dressed in plain clothes stopped his car at gunpoint. And forced them out of the car and got into another car and escaped.
Unknown persons dressed in plain clothes were already in the street on cars and motorcycles. On hearing the noise of the driver, he ran back, then the unknown car and motorcycle rider escaped with his father.
Shuja Zubair said that a regular application has also been submitted by Muhammad Mubeen, who has been serving as a driver with his father for 15 years, but the hearing is not being done, while it is written in the application that the accused Zubair Khan was kidnapped and taken away threatening serious consequences due to which his father’s life is in serious danger.
