Pakistani Ambassador Raza Bashir Tarar presented his diplomatic credentials to the Emperor of Japan.
On behalf of the Japanese authorities, the Pakistani ambassador was taken to the royal palace in a special protocol.
Speaking on the occasion, the Japanese Emperor welcomed the Ambassador of Pakistan and conveyed his best wishes to the Pakistani political leadership.
The Japanese Emperor expressed regret over the loss of life and property caused by the recent floods in Pakistan and expressed satisfaction over the excellent and friendly relations between the two countries.
After the meeting, Raza Bashir Tarar thanked the Japanese government and the Japanese emperor and later talking about the war, he said that Pakistan and Japan have excellent and friendly relations.
Raza Bashir Tarar said that there is hope that the relations between the two countries will improve with time.
