Strong representation of Pakistan in international tourism fair

Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Faisal inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at the world’s largest international tourism exhibition ITB 2023 in Berlin, capital of Germany.

The Pakistan Pavilion is organized and managed in collaboration between Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).

In the Pakistan Pavilion, 13 private exhibitors/tour operators and 4 provincial tourism departments are showcasing their offerings and services to attract international tourists to Pakistan.

On this occasion Dr. Muhammad Faisal also inaugurated a separate Balochistan Pavilion organized by Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) apart from Pakistan Pavilion.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Embassy in Berlin, the Ambassador of Pakistan said that representing Pakistan in the world’s largest tourism fair is indeed a proud moment.

He said that despite the economic challenges, a successful exhibition has been organized with the joint cooperation of the departments ie PTDC, TDEP and Embassy of Pakistan Berlin.

Dr. Muhammad Faisal said that this exhibition is expected to be a big and rich activity of B2B contacts in the promotion of Pakistani tourism which will be able to attract a large number of tourists to Pakistan.

The Digital Tourism Corner set up at the Pakistan Pavilion by the Embassy of Pakistan attracted many international visitors who enjoyed a virtual reality tour of the Northern Territory and Mohenjo-daro on state-of-the-art virtual reality glasses.

People appreciated this innovative concept and expressed their desire to visit Pakistan themselves to see these beautiful landscapes in the near future.

The three-day exhibition will continue in Berlin until March 9, 2023, with over 180 countries represented by thousands of exhibitors from both the public and private sectors.
