Islamabad: The recommendations of the National Austerity Committee have been received by the Prime Minister’s Office.
The National Austerity Committee recommended bureaucracy and judges to withdraw more than one plot and auction the additional plots.
A 15% reduction in the salaries and allowances of parliament members by 2024 is also recommended. The recommendations of the National Austerity Committee will be submitted to the Federal Cabinet for approval.
The committee has sent recommendations to the Prime Minister’s Office to save 500 to 1000 billion rupees annually, in which a ten percent reduction in the salaries of government employees and officers has also been recommended.
According to the sources, the recommendations sent to the Prime Minister’s Office have been recommended to withdraw more than one plot from the bureaucracy and judges and auction them.
