Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeemur Rehman approached the Sindh High Court on the issue of holding elections in 11 local union committees in Shahr Quaid.
Talking to the media outside the Sindh High Court, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the Election Commission was also approached for the elections on the seats, but the Adra is avoiding, immediate elections should be held for the mayorship in the city.
He said that an application has been filed in the Sindh High Court that the Election Commission should be ordered to hold elections on 11 seats immediately, the institution should abide by the constitution. This is our effort in the High Court to give us justice.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that People’s Party wants to prove its majority through fraud, fake RO, DRO is being rigged. People’s Party Jayale Mayor’s dream will never be fulfilled, he is trying to prevent elections here.

He said that when elections are held, the country rigs the Election Commission. After the election, the results are being withheld. An attempt is being made to stop the Election Commission, on the request of the PPP, is showing their numbers.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that the elections were held for years, but the second phase could not be completed. The Election Commission has been held hostage by the Sindh government. Therefore, the Election Commission is supporting the Sindh government.
Hafiz Naeem ridiculed Saeed Ghani and said that he does not even know that Gulshan Iqbal is also named after Allama Iqbal.
