Russia is working to facilitate visa procedures for 6 countries, including India, Syria, Indonesia, Angola, Vietnam and the Philippines.
According to the Russian news agency, Russia is also making progress on visa-free entry agreements with 11 countries.
These countries include Saudi Arabia, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico and Trinidad.
After the war broke out in Ukraine a year ago, Russia has increased its contacts with India, China and African countries.
On the other hand, the United States, Japan and the European Union condemned the Russian occupation of Ukraine and imposed sanctions on it, while China and India did nothing.
India has adopted a moderate stance, it does not openly blame Russia for the war and on the other hand it has increased its oil purchases from Russia to record levels.
