The police filed an appeal against the verdict before the Sessions Judge
Islamabad: Important progress has been made in the case of threatening the Election Commission. The police challenged the decision to reject the physical remand of Fawad Chaudhry.
The case of threatening the Election Commission was heard in the District and Sessions Court Islamabad.

The police filed an appeal against the decision before the Sessions Judge and requested that the decision of Judicial Magistrate Waqas Ahmed Raja be annulled and further physical remand of Fawad Chaudhry be given.
The Judicial Magistrate rejected Fawad Chaudhry’s request for physical remand and sent him to jail on judicial remand.
