Indian versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has finally broken his silence on the controversy that has been going on for the past few days regarding his wife and children. He says that this is not an accusation but my feelings. He was held hostage, which prevented him from going to school.
Sharing a long post on micro-blogging site Twitter, the actor expressed his feelings openly and wrote that because of my silence, I am being portrayed as a bad guy everywhere. All my children are also studying.
Everyone is having fun bashing me on social media, in the press and in the media, but I would like to put forward a few points as to my position.
Confirming the divorce, the actor wrote that Alia and I have not been together for many years, we are already divorced and only reconciled for the sake of our children.
“Does anyone care or know why my children are not going to school for the last 45 days?” he wrote, raising the question. While the school is writing to me on a daily basis that the children’s holidays have increased by many days.
“My children have been held hostage for the past 45 days, due to which they are not able to go to their school in Dubai and are deprived of education,” he said.
He detailed about the expenses that Alia Siddiqui had taken the children hostage 4 months before she came here to ask for money and was demanding money.
They say that Alia was being paid 4-5 lakhs per month before going to Dubai and 10 lakhs per month after going to Dubai as expenses. Children’s school fees, medical and travel expenses are extra.
He also said that he invested a lot of money on 3 films of Alia Siddiqui to make him a continuous source of income. They were given an expensive car so that the children would not have problems, but they also sold it and spent the money on themselves. I bought a house in Mumbai for the sake of the children and also took a rented house in Dubai which I am bearing all the expenses so that they can lead a luxurious life but they need more money for which Aaliya has made various false accusations against me.
On the issue of eviction of children, he wrote, “My children stay with their grandmother whenever they come to Mumbai on vacation from Dubai, so why should I evict them?” During that time I was not at home myself.
He said that why Alia did not make a video when she was being kicked out of the house, why did she keep making videos of other things and sharing them?
Nawazuddin wrote at the end of his tweet that no parent in the world would ever want their children to be deprived of education. Their future is bad. They will always try to provide all facilities to them.
He said that what I am earning today is for my two children. I love Shoora and Yani and will go to any extent to secure their well-being and their future.
He said that I have won all the cases so far and will keep my faith in the judiciary, ‘Love is not to stop anyone, but to let it fly in the right direction’.
