Karachi: After the alleged encounters, Kalakot, Baghdadi and Aziz Bhatti police arrested 6 robbers including 5 injured and recovered weapons, stolen motorcycle and other items from the accused while 2 accomplices of the arrested accused managed to escape from the spot.
According to the details, the Kalakot police arrested an accused in an injured condition after an alleged encounter from the factory area between Saturday and Sunday at around 2:30 AM.
According to the spokesperson of Karachi Police, the injured suspect was identified as 53-year-old Abdul Rahim Baloch alias PIA son of Khan Muhammad Baloch. A pistol with ammunition, mobile phones, cash and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from the arrested suspect. The arrested accused is the main commander of the Uzair Baloch group, the leader of the Lyari gang war. The arrested accused had attacked the police party and injured the police officer some time ago.
Baghdadi police arrested 3 robbers including 2 injured after an alleged encounter near Lyari Phulpati Line Dubai Chowk Gadha Gadhi stop at around 3:00 p.m. between Sunday and Monday. Civil Hospital while the third accused was transferred to Baghdadi police station.
The injured suspects were identified as 19-year-old Hasnain Baloch son of Sher Muhammad Baloch and 22-year-old Muhammad Mazmal Baloch son of Muhammad Qasim Baloch, while the third accused was identified as 20-year-old Wasif son of Ghulam Mustafa. Taking advantage of the darkness of the night, the 3 accomplices managed to escape through the narrow streets while firing at the police, recovered 3 pistols with ammunition, mobile phones, cash and other stolen goods from the arrested accused.
The arrested accused have been arrested with the help of CCTV footage, the accused had committed an armed robbery at a retail shop near MC School in Chakiwara police station limits last week. It was shown on Express News.
In the footage, it can be seen that the two suspects riding a motorcycle, who were wearing masks on their faces and showed the shopkeeper the money with weapons, and escaped quietly without the knowledge of the customers standing at the same shop, were arrested. The accused were wanted by the police in several incidents in different areas of District West and City District.
Aziz Bhatti Police arrested a dacoit in an injured condition after an alleged encounter near Dalmia Cement Factory.
According to the police, the injured Mazam was identified as 25-year-old Mohit Khan son of Muhammad Iqbal, a pistol with ammunition, mobile phone and cash were recovered from the accused. An accomplice of the arrested accused managed to escape from the spot.
