Senior Vice President of Muslim League (N) Maryam Nawaz, Minister of Information Maryam Aurangzeb, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, former Chief Minister Punjab Parvaizalhi, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesuri and other leaders have expressed grief over the death of actor Qavi Khan.
Maryam Nawaz said that whatever role Qavi Khan played, he did justice to it, while Maryam Aurangzeb called the death of Qavi Khan a great loss to the art sector.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and said that the golden era of acting has ended with Qavi Khan’s death.
He said that Qavi Khan gave a new dimension to TV dramas with his versatile acting.
Caretaker Information Minister Punjab Aamir Mir condoled the death of actor Qavi Khan and said that Qavi Khan was a versatile personality and a great artist.
Aamir Mir said that the void created by Qavi Khan’s death will never be filled.
Former Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi, Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori and other leaders also termed Qavi Khan’s death as a great national loss.
Actor Sohail Ahmed said that Qavi Khan was like a father to him, never seen a self-sufficient man like Qavi Khan, had left Qavi Khan at the airport to go to Canada.
