Karachi: The title song of the film Huay Tum Ajri, directed by renowned journalist Kamran Shahid, has been released.
Director and journalist Kamran Shahid says that 25% of the history of Bangladesh i.e. East Pakistan in 1971 has been shown in the film Hoay Tum Ajraj, while it is a romantic comedy film.
He said that we had asked ISPR for tank and weapons on rent but it was flatly refused and said that we do not give anything on rent. When I told them that I am making a film on the backdrop of 71st, they didn’t even see my script and they provided me the same logistics without taking any money.
On the other hand, Kamran Shahid said that not necessarily all the things appearing in the film are real, but graphics are used, as far as cooperation is concerned, ISPR has nothing to do with the film.
Star Mikal Zulfiqar and Sadia Khan are playing the lead roles while Sohail Ahmed, Mehmood Aslam, Shafqat Cheema, Samina Pirzada, Ayesha Umar, Shamoon Abbasi, Ali Khan and film star Shahid will also be seen.
It is to be noted that the film Hoay Tum Ajraj Ki Kahani will present the audience with untold love stories set against the backdrop of the 1971 war, comprising 11 songs.
Kamran Shahid’s film will be screened on Eid-ul-Fitr in all cinemas across the country.
