New Delhi: 3 officials of the Noida company were arrested from the Indian capital for the death of 18 children in Uzbekistan due to the syrup produced by India in Uzbekistan.
According to Indian media, Delhi Police arrested three officials of two construction companies in Noida, while the company’s owner and secretary escaped. 18 children in Uzbekistan died after drinking the company’s cough syrup.
It should be noted that the Indian company had sent these drugs to Uzbekistan in May 2021 and a report in December last year identified 18 children who died after consuming this drug.

After this report, the Indian company was banned in Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan also demanded strict action from the Modi government against this criminal negligence.
The World Health Organization also declared the medicine of the Indian company as defective and blamed the syrup for the deaths of the children.
