Famous Indian singer Benny Dayal was injured after a drone camera hit him during a concert.
In the video of the incident that went viral on social media, it can be seen that during the stage performance of Benny Dayal at the concert, a drone suddenly came close to him while recording the camera and hit him on the back of the head.
As soon as the drone camera hit the singer’s head, he stopped his performance and sat on the stage with his head in his hands, after which he was attended to by staff and given medical attention.
Benny Dayal has released a special video message to his fans, concert organizers and other artists following the incident on photo and video sharing app Instagram.
He has said that due to the impact of the drone, he suffered a minor injury on his head and his 2 fingers were injured which have been bandaged.
The singer has thanked the staff of the Chennai concert for providing immediate medical attention.
Benny Dayal has requested concert organizers to always hire certified drone operators.
He advises artists whenever they perform at a concert to make sure in advance with the organizers that drones will not come close to you during your performance as it is very dangerous.
